SHARKS SWEPT IN SEASON SERIES AGAINST KINGS

The San Jose Sharks lost for the second consecutive night, this time in Southern California to the interstate rivals Los Angeles Kings. James Reimer made some magnificent saves early on, but the Sharks losing the battle on the scoreboard in the first period would ultimately play a factor in the end. Timo Meier scored his team-leading 24th goal of the season while Erik Karlsson continues his hot streak, earning at least one point in 16 of his last 17 games. The Sharks will return home on Friday, January 13th, 2023 to take on the Edmonton Oilers.
