SAN JOSEF ERA CONTINUES

The San Jose Sharks have announced today that they've re-signed 23-year-old goaltender Josef Korenar to a one-year contract. Per Curtis Pashleka, the contract is a two-way deal worth $125k ($750K to play in the NHL with the Sharks and $85K to play in the AHL with the Barracuda).

Korenar played in 10 games last season with seven starts. Korenar posted a .899 save percentage and averaged 3.17 goals against. The signing secures Korernar's stay in San Jose as Seattle prepares to poach NHL rosters in the upcoming Expansion Draft.
