PRESEASON: SHARKS AT KINGS

The San Jose Sharks defeated the Los Angeles Kings 3-1 at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California.



Thomas Bordeleau, Evgeny Svechnikov, and Scott Harrington scored the San Jose goals.

Timo Meier and Kevin Labanc got an assist on Bordeleau's first-period power-play goal (5:54). Radim Simek and Scott Reedy assisted Svechnikov's second-period goal (12:48) and Harrington's short-handed third-period goal (18:33) was unassisted.


Aaron Dell started in net and posted a .963 save percentage with 26 saves. Dell's only goal against broke a perfect penalty kill streak that extended through 3 games. Strauss Mann was also dressed for tonight's game but seen no action as Dell played a full 60 minutes.



Tonight marks the last night of rotating squads as Sharks Head Coach David Quinn announced that cuts will take place following the game and that by practice tomorrow, the Sharks will have a roster closer to the Sharks' opening night roster for the 2022 NHL Global Series.
