The San Jose Sharks begin the 2022 NHL Preseason at home against division rivals Los Angeles Kings.

The game will mark the start of the journey for the new era of Sharks hockey, a fresh start that comes complete with a package of a new General Manager in Mike Grier, a new head coach in David Quinn, and a new set of Sharks jerseys.

The exhibition game Sunday afternoon at the Tank will also mark the post-Brent Burns era in San Jose. Who will play the minutes left behind from Burns on the blue line? Will Sharks prospects William Eklund and Thomas Bordeleau make the main roster? Will the fans get a glimpse of the goalie battle between Kaapo Kahkoken and James Reimer in September? Will the Sharks wear their new uniforms?
