MARIO FERRARO SUFFERS BROKEN FIBULA
Mario Ferraro underwent successful surgery to repair a fractured fibula and is expected to be out 6-8 weeks, per San Jose Sharks.
Ferraro was injured in last night's game against the Bruins. It was suggested that the incident was a result of foul play by Boston's Taylor Hall, but it can clearly be seen that Ferraro began to lose his footing prior to any contact.
The Sharks must now continue it's push to save the season with two of it's top four defenseman out with injuries. Erik Karlsson also underwent successful surgery last month to repair an injured forearm.
