ADAM RASKA MAKING HIS PRESENCE FELT EARLY

Adam Raska was drafted in the 7th round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft at 201st overall. The 20-year-old winger stands at 5'10 and weighs in at slightly below 180 lbs. Since the first puck drop of exhibition play in the 2021 Arizona Rookie Faceoff Tournament, Adam Raska has been an undeniable force on the ice.

Standing out with his physical play and ability to keep drives alive, Raska has definitely stood out as one of the more productive prospects on the San Jose Sharks Training Camp roster. Just check out the highlight where Raska puts in the work to extend the play, hold the offensive zone and get an assist in Kyle Topping's goal.

If this commitment to the play wasn't enough to win Sharks fans over, Raska also does not back down when challenged by opponents.

The San Jose Sharks are currently looking to rejuvenate their roster, or "replenish" according to General Manager Doug Wilson, especially with the vacancy left by Evander Kane.

The Sharks announced their training camp cuts (which in the world of hockey means returning to the junior clubs for further development) and it's no surprise that Raska remains in San Jose.

Sharks Territory can only hope that the momentum continues in what has been an exciting progression to watch on the ice. In last night's preseason opener against the Vegas Golden Knights, Raska scored what would eventually become the game-winning goal.

It is needless to say that our early favorite pick to earn a spot, if not on the main roster at the very least with the Cuda, is Adam Raska. To be completely honest, Raska has been more exciting to watch during these exhibition games than the heavily favorite William Eklund.
