The San Jose Sharks host their second home game of the 2022-23 NHL Season against the Chicago Blackhawks.

This will be the 107th game all-time between the Chicago Blackhawks and the San Jose Sharks. The Sharks are 56-36-5-9 all-time against the Hawks

The San Jose Sharks will also be honoring Doug Wilson with a banner ceremony for his contributions as the first team captain in Sharks history and for his tenure as a General Manager.

The Sharks are currently 0-3 under the new regime of General Manager Mike Grier and Head Coach David Quinn. The last time the Sharks started 0-4 was in 2019 under Peter DeBoer, the same season he was fired. Bob Boughner managed to win in his first 4 games as a head coach. Boughner went 2-2 in 2020-21, and 4-0 last season in 2021-22.
