The San Jose Sharks made franchise history against the New York Islanders..by losing.

Having now reached a 5-game-winless streak to start the season, the 2022-23 Sharks became the first club in San Jose history to start a season 0-5-0.

The Sharks have never been this bad in October. Not even during their expansion years.
